New Boots!

Today is my birthday! The last hour or so of it anyway! Today is the day I get my New Year anticlimax feeling, im always so excited, but when it comes around, it was never really as good as i'd hoped.

It was a nice day, I got lovely presents, I went for drinks and a meal with my lovely friends. Things could be a lot worse and I cant complain at all!

I'm just jealous of the Super Sweet 16 parties I guess!!

I have a lot of posts to do, and trying to find the time to do them!

So this is just to show you a pair of boots I bought from Dorothy Perkins.

They just made me go ooft. Not the most comfortable, but still pretty.

I'm using the web picture, as you may well have guessed, my camera isn't good for anything but landscapes!

Lumberjack shirts!

Merry belated Christmas to you all! Does belated work in there?
I have been meaning to do some posts, but been so busy as i'm sure everyone else has been too!

Christmas is over, and i've been thinking
where are the sales?!
Oh..not on the Island I am currently stuck on
haha
but I leave tomorrow to go home again
and indulge in a little shopping!

Which I just so happened to do a little of before I left, and im sure you guessed what..

A couple of Lumberjack shirts.
I am not usually one to follow in this trend, but these are made of flannel with the pearl pop buttons.

They are so cute! and comfortable, and warm.
I couldn't resist, and a primark bargain at £7.

I also got a motel rocks dress

This dress is so nice on, which you cant see as im lazy, and quite tubby now from all the food i've eaten.

It really is so pretty, and I believe it is now only £20 on the motel rocks website.

I really hate when that happens!!!

NOTN & OOTN

These are all from my works night out on Friday, I should have taken better quality pictures..before I had a drink or two.

What's done is done.

So nails of the night were Collection2000 in Vogue

(whats with the wrinkly old granny hand?)

My shoes were, much nicer than this picture..

Miss Selfridge

And here is me and my friends

I have a funny tummy bump though, the dress is fitted at the top, puffy around the bum as the back has a cute little bow and fitted again on the legs, to explain, I dont have a huuuuge muffin top!

And finally, my dress, which I absolutely love (but you cant see all of it, haha, oh im rubbish!) and got lots of compliments on
£12 from New Look...bargain!

I'm wearing the extensions too! Hopefully gives a better idea of what they look like

Rosewood

I think im going Maybelline mad at the moment, i'm loving everything, except the packaging!

I bought their new Expertwear Blush in Rosewood this weekend.

"Let chalky, streaky and obvious blusher be a thing of the past. The most important thing about blush is that it should accent rather than take over your face.

I loved the swatch I did with the tester, creamy, glossy, smooth..yet barely there.

Is this something people will buy into?
Make up you can barely see?

No matter how much I put on, it just wasn't noticable, I guess that is the point though!

I really like the texture and look of this on my hand, but I cant adjust to the look on my face.

I am so used to seeing where I have applied my blush, even when I am trying to be subtle!

I would really love to know what other people think of this product?

La Moustache

There is something about moustache's that always make me smile.
And really remind me of my best friend because she loves them.
Because they are everywhere at the moment I thought I would share some pictures of a few things you can buy.

The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of!

Magic Shaving Cream.

On Saturday night me and my friend were having a chat, and she was complaing about bikini waxes/shaving, the discomfort, the embarrassment and we started talking about, if you get creams for your legs, your face, why not for your bikini. Why had we never thought of this before?! Have any of you? Were we just naive and silly! Going through pain every couple of weeks unnecessarily!

Feeling all excited at the thought of simple hair removal, we searched online and up popped this product.

It is actually aimed towards removing black mens facial hair I believe but said on the site it is well known in the 'adult' industry for being amazing for other areas of the body.

Now for £2.50 and the thought of a miracle product..we thought why not! Even if it doesn't work, what are we losing! So I bought some on Ebay, and it arrived on the Monday, both being desperate to try it out and feel we have found the holy grail in hair removal, ran for the bathroom haha.

This is turning into an essay! Sorry!

Anyway, easy application, put it on, leave for 10 minutes, then wipe off and dampen.

blahblahblah.

I've bored you enough with the story behind it.

So the results.

THIS WORKS!

Oh my goodness, I am stocking up on this!

Easy, no pain, done in the comfort of your own home, amazing results.

I never thought it would work. I am really impressed though, as is my friend!

I am telling you all, go search Magic Hair Removal on Ebay and get buying!!!

bangbang

My new earrings I bought from a quirky wee jewellery store just outside of town.

(eww to how hairy the camera has made me look)

Sublime Bronze

I haven't blogged the past week or so as I have been ill, but im on the mend now and feel like having a bit of a blether, even if its just with myself.

=]

I have my Christmas works night out tomorrow, i'll take a picture of my outfit, I really love the dress...and the heels!

As im wearing black, I don't want to look too peely wally (haha, that means pale for those of you who aren't sure) my usual choice of fake tan being the Rimmel wash off one, for two reasons, im not allowed to wear it for work and im scared of making a mess!

Anyway, holidays are coming up so I bought the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze instant tan.

So my views on this are undecided for a few reasons..

This product comes in the form of a gel, so its easily seen when applicated and has a shimmer factor which I quite like.

Its not too different looking from the Rimmel one. And it is instant which is great, im not sure about gradually changing colour, especially when I have to be doing other things. I do like this product, you build up your tan daily or when you feel you need to, to get the desired tan colour.

My only two so-so opinions are the usual fake tan smell, everyone who wears fake tan knows that smell, you cant hide it, also, I found it very sticky after applying but is that really enough to put me off?Neither of these things last.

slight change in colour between face and chest after first use.

Jeggings-esque

On my Winter search for the perfect presents for my nearest and dearest, which turned into a complete fail, I decided to venture on a quest for more warm tights/leggings...anything that will look good with boots and wellies, I found this pair for £9.99 a pop at h&m, they come in a range of colours from black to quite acid wash colours. They are cosy and comfortable nevermind cost effective at this time of the year!

It is actually a lot harder to take a picture of your legs without the glaring mirror reflection than you would think!

I would wear a much longer top than this in public, but I was just out the shower and quickly into my thermals

: )

My legs look funny and chubby, I hope this is not what they really look like and are just taken from an extremely bad angle!
